ICPMF Software Fair for Predictive Microbiology and Risk Assessment Tools at FoodMicro 2018 in Berlin

The International Committee on Predictive Modelling in Foods (ICPMF) organized Software Fair for Predictive Microbiology and Risk Assessment Tools in collaboration with the International Committee on Food Microbiology and Hygiene (ICFMH) at FoodMicro 2018 in Berlin

The International Committee on Predictive Modelling in Foods (ICPMF) organized a Software Fair for Predictive Microbiology and Risk Assessment Tools in collaboration with the International Committee on Food Microbiology and Hygiene (ICFMH) at FoodMicro 2018 in Berlin. Nine software tools were presented at this ICPMF Software Fair including the latest developments in application tools and possibilities for the participants to communicate directly with software developers during an extensive hands-on software demonstration session. The presented tools were FDA-iRISK, FSSP, Sym’Previus, DMRI-Predict, GROPIN, MicroHibro, Process Temeprature and Time Predictor, RAKIP, Startec. The hands-on demonstrations took place in a dedicated and equipped space with tables for small groups and flat screens. This live event had four shifts so that participants could sign up for different software demonstrations. The event had 74 registered participants, from which 50 were present at the presentation sessions and around 30 for the demonstrations.
