ICFMH 2017 training workshop for African food microbiologists held in Accra, Ghana

ICFMH organized and sponsored a training workshop on molecular methods for food microbiology and safety in Accra (Ghana) in December 11-17, 2017.

Sixteen African food microbiologists from 7 countries (Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan and Uganda) attended the workshop. ICFMH at the IUMS 2017 in Singapore

The ICFMH attended the annual meeting of the IUMS BAM division (July 2017). Prof Andreja Rajkovic and Prof. Vasilis Valdramidis represented the ICMFH Executive Board.

The ICMFH also coorganised a joint session of ICFMH and ICFM during 15th International Congress of Mycology and Eukaryotic Microbiology (IUMS2017) on foodborne pathogens and mycotoxins, chaired by Prof Robert Samson of CBS-KNAW Fungal Biodiversity Centre, Netherlands and Prof Andreja Rajkovic of Ghent University, Belgium.

ICFMH Board Meeting held in Athens, Greece in April 25-27

ICFMH held its board meeting from April 25-27, 2017 in Athens, Greece. All eleven board members participated in the meeting and reported the progress of their work that were assigned in the last board meeting in Dublin, Ireland (July 22-23, 2016).
